COVID-19

Following the guidelines and recommendations from trusted sources including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Optometric Association, we have decided a temporary closure for routine vision care is critical to further protect the safety of our valued patients, staff, and the general public. We are continuing to triage emergency and important follow-ups via phone. We will continue to closely monitor this situation on a day-to-day basis and will notify all patients immediately once we determine it is safe to open our office again.

During this temporary closure, please visit our Facebook page (Heaston and Thompson Vision Clinic) for up to date information on our temporary closure, and answers to frequently asked questions. Our team is currently in the process of calling all appointments–to keep our phone lines clear, please wait for us to contact you for rescheduling your routine visit.

For all eye-related medical emergencies, please follow the prompts on our automated system (509-943-3171) and you will be triaged by our team. If you are having a medical emergency, please call your primary care physician’s office.

For medication refills please call your pharmacy. Should your prescription need approval from us, they will electronically contact us.

As always, we thank you for your continued and dedicated support, patience, and understanding during this extraordinary time.

Wishing you the best,

The Heaston & Thompson Vision Clinic Family
